I will definately be following your blog, I am doing something similar and I am very worried that I may get some resistance from educators on doing the extra work. But I'm not giving up yet my mentor told me we will work through it not to panic.
Hi Kathyanne, one question I have regarding your plan: Is it oriented on a specific software platform? I mean, I have observed many of my colleagues not displaying videos and/or animations to engage their students in the learning process due to their lack of knowledge. So I was wondering if your plan implies this broad need or a more specific one.
Our action research projects sound very similar. Our research will definitely help each other. Are you planning to conduct the meetings yourself or are you just observing? Also, what do you mean by online communities? What specifically do you plan on requiring teachers to do? Good luck!
